Scalp Psoriasis

Scalp psoriasis is a skin condition that can occur on part or all of the scalp. It causes red patches of skin and thick, silvery-white scales called plaques.

Some people find scalp psoriasis extremely itchy. Other people may not have any discomfort.

It tends to be a chronic condition fluctuating in severity.

In extreme cases, it can cause mild hair loss, although this is usually only temporary and doesn’t cause permanent balding.
